Rivers Election System

Built a secure, ranked-choice voting website using Meek STV in a post-AP CS course, leading HTML development and UX design for mobile/desktop, while collaborating with peers and administrators to support over 500 school election participants.

  • Created website in post-AP computer science course to accurately and securely tally votes and calculate results in school elections with over 500 student and faculty participants
  • Led HTML coding on all pages, including drag-and-drop ballot interface for both mobile and desktop browsers
  • Wrote and implemented code to automatically calculate results of ranked-choice election using complex counting method known as Meek STV (Single Transferable Vote)
  • Attended and led scrums in collaborative project-based approach and met with administrators to enhance their product
