Designed, modeled, and built a full-size cardboard bed for disaster relief shelters using Fusion360, tested it to support over 1,000 lbs, and presented the project with full documentation to engineering faculty.
Designed and created full-size cardboard bed in first-year engineering class for use in disaster relief shelters
Used Fusion360 to model bed and its parts and used design to cut out and assemble cardboard bed
Tested bed’s safety capabilities, finding its capacity to be over 1,000 lbs of distributed weight
Presented finished product to engineering professors and documented process with InDesign
